Interviewed last month for a Belgium newspaper, Justin Whitecross, founder and director of OPENaid, explained, "It's so challenging, but if we can prevent one girl from being sexually exploited, that's good enough for me".

In every village and community where we work, mothers are struggling to stand for daughters and maintain continuing education costs. We specifically target women and girls most vulnerable within their communities, and they are not helped by other agencies or groups.

Everybody at OPENaid is committed to helping these vulnerable girls, and protecting what is most precious to them: dignity and hope.

Much more needs to be done. We have very, very experienced and specially skilled staff, fantastic programming and vast knowledge of issues and responses needed.

OPENaid's approach to rehabilitation is holistic so all women and girls have opportunities to share in activities nurturing and encouraging vocational, psychosocial and spiritual healing and growth.

We need you!!! The fight against poverty and sexual exploitation in Southeast Asia needs people in Australia and across the world... helping us protect every girl in our reach.
