With the help of our small base of supporters, Openaid is providing invaluable support and building hundreds of lives in Pattaya to stop exploitation of children. Many thousands of children in Pattaya live in poverty and are at risk of being abused and sexually exploited.

Many Thais do not have an opportunity at a life of privilege and millions struggle with loss of dignity and confidence and overwhelming feelings of hopelessness. Many foreigners realise how vulnerable children are and aqre inspired to volunteer and/or donate for the cause.

Openaid devotes significant time to developing relationships and dialogue with slum communities dotting the landscape. We are committed to nurturing people and giving opportunities to transform lives, helping others have a chance to make something of themselves.

For children and families who cannot shield themselves from endless cycles of povery, we provide the following support:

Saturday Art Program

Our team coordinates special art and expression activities, providing care and support and various art activities to nurture emotions and cultivate joy and happiness. 

Microlending

Building capacity of mothers in poverty to generate income to maintain their basic needs, particularly education costs for daughters.  

Counselling

Counselling for parents and adolescent girls to support family planning and nurture recovery from abuse.
