Commitment to support and build genuine relationships

We are passionate about working out how best to support Burmese migrants in northern Thailand.

Openaid has a long history participating with migrants in Thailand. Our response to the growing problem has been to establish partnership with churches and groups to design and deliver:

• microfinance to officially pay fees for government work permit and hill tribe cards
• HIV/AIDS education and training 
• Capacity development for partner 'Grace Church'

Activities provide rehabilitation support, economic development and social support to women and families who have been through trauma and extreme crisis.
