FUNDRAISING TEAM MEMBERS X 2

OPENaid currently runs a weekly BBQ fundraiser to raise operational costs for the ongoing work of OPENaid. We are seeking mature individuals to participate in this initiative. Applicants will be expected to show clearly their commitment to the position and potential to use their abilities to improve the success of the program. Applicants must be committed to the cause of OPENaid.    

Responsibilities

• Participate with BBQ team in Essendon Saturday or Sunday as rostered
• Prepare foods
• Cook foods
• Customer service
• Cleaning and equipment maintenance

Selection criteria 

• Ability to work under pressure
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of OPENaid organisation, policy and procedures
• Problem-solving ability
• Drivers license
• Verbal communication/interpersonal skills

FUNDRAISING PROGRAM MANAGER

OPENaid currently runs a weekly BBQ fundraiser to raise operational costs for the ongoing work of OPENaid. We are seeking a mature individual (or couple) to lead and develop this initiative. Applicants will have excellent communication skills, a flair for organisation and capacity to lead teams of volunteers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the fundraising team (volunteers and staff )
• Provide oversight to all aspects of the BBQ
• Develop, implement and manage a food safety program
• Manage volunteer / staff rosters
• Ongoing communication and relationship with site operators
• Undertake weekly food purchasing and product maintenance 
• Undertake driving the van to the site 
• Supervisor site set-up
• Report to Executive Assistant in Melbourne and Executive Director

Requirements

• Ability to communicate, coordinate, and build relationships
• Proven capability providing support and leadership in groups;
• Experience delivering well-organised events;
• Manual driver’s license
